VAMPIRA, R.I.P. MY FRIEND

Maila Nurmi aka Vampira has passed into the great horror movie in the sky. She went peacefully in her sleep in her 80th decade on this planet. Maila was a friend of mine and was supposed to make her way in front of my camera a while back but for some reason not all photoshoots are made to happen so it never came to fruition. Maila was going to make this great spider web hat that she and I had designed for her. Then time went on and I never heard back from her. I saw her often around Hollywood though and she was friendly and upbeat and cordial whenever I saw her. She will be missed.
